Erin Austen was born on the 17th of March 1994 in Liverpool and graduated from the Arts Educational Schools London with a BA (Hons) in Acting. On stage she appeared in a production of 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' (2015) before making her first TV appearance in the TV crime series 'Suspicion' (2016) as Sheilia Eddy and the same year was in an episode of 'The Royals' TV series as Erin. The year 2018 saw her appear in film shorts, 'Inanimate', 'Disconnect' and 'Rebirth' before appearing in the teenventure fashion school series 'The Athena' as a Cheerleader. 'Where's Wally' (2020-21) provided Erin with a substantial role in this DreamWorks animated series, with her providing the UK voice of Wenda, a key character in the series. Next came 'The Kindred' (2021), a thriller which finds a woman suffering from amnesia who pieces together the events that led to her father's suicide, only to be haunted by the ghosts of children that she begins to suspect were murdered by him. Erin appears as Ella, a party goer in this horror movie. The dark comedy 'Followers' (2021), playing Amber, came next, in which a struggling social media influencer discovers the house he shares is haunted. The ghost brings him and his friends fame and fortune, but with deadly consequences.
After one episode of 'Andy and the Band' (2023) Erin made her debut on the 22nd of March 2023 in the popular soap, 'Coronation Street' as club promoter Crystal Hyde as she flirted up a storm with Ryan Connor at the Bistro. Crystal was a promoter for the Ibiza island’s clubs, and, as an aspiring DJ, Ryan was excited when she gave him her business card. It seemed like Ryan’s dreams were about to come true, but then he was caught up in a traumatic attack when he ended up getting acid mistakenly thrown into his face and suffered life scarring facial burns. When Crystal found out about the acid attack she left to return to her life in Ibiza. However the actress made a long-awaited comeback to the cobbles when Ryan got a shock when his former love interest got back in touch. Despite initial hesitation, Ryan accepted Crystal's offer to move to Glasgow to work with her, leaving Weatherfield temporarily behind in December 2023.

With lavish costumes, biting satire, and a cast that brings the era’s eccentricities to life, it is perfect for anyone who loves a clever twist on classic British heritage drama. A mashup of period drama and comedy: think Downtown Abbey meets Airplane! Bridgerton meets The Naked Gun! It was filmed across Liverpool City Region with Croxteth Hall and Knowsley Hall providing the stage for Fackham Hall and the lavish country estate at the heart of the film’s chaos and comedy. Also featued in the film are the Three Graces, Hamilton Square and Thornton Hough on the Wirral.
