'Headfeeder' is a new band emerging from the seaside town of New Brighton, alongside an exciting crop of local talent from a very lively music scene. Ben Kynaston on lead and rhythm guitar was born in Shrewsbury but was raised in New Brighton. Ben’s influences include 'The Stone Roses', Eric Clapton and 'Led Zeppelin'. Jamie Valerio is the bassist and songwriter who was born and raised in Dunblane, Scotland. When Jamie moved to Liverpool to study music it was there he met Ben and decided to form a band. Sonny McGuigan, the drummer, was born in Liverpool and raised in Wallasey. Sonny comes from a musical family with his Dad, Tony drumming in bands such as 'Echo & The Bunnymen' and 'The Real People'. The band are aiming to reinvigorate Merseyside's musical history and create a grassroots fan base across the UK and then the world. Managed by Hug Management they released their debut single 'Isolation' in February 2023, which has been played on various radio stations including; BBC Merseyside Introducing, 6 Music & Liverpool Live Radio.

***SUPPORT ANNOUNCEMENT***
Delighted to announce two brilliant local groups Headfeeder and Modern Marriage support Apollo Junction at their Jimmy's Liverpool headline show, Friday November 10th.

They performed their sold out headline debut at EBGBs, Liverpool in September 2023 and have since performed up and down the UK including London & Glasgow. The band ended their freshman year with a headline gig at the Cavern Club, presented by BBC Introducing Merseyside and Dave Monks for the BBC Introducing 'Christmas Bash'. Off the back of 2 consecutive sold out dates supporting 'Space' at local venue Future Yard, Birkenhead in December 2023, the band performed their own headline gig there on the 26th of January 2024 and are currently working on their debut EP with experienced producer, and 'Space' bassist, Phil Hartley and plan to release it later this year.

When he was 18, Will met Rockpoint Leisure CEO Dan Davies and became involved in the project to changes along Victoria Road, where a lot of regeneration, funded by £7.5m from Rockpoint Leisure, has taken place, and has helped bring back a sense of community and vibrancy to the town. Will said: "Dan was quite eager to get the local community, the local kids, involved because there was a lot of bad behaviour. I was one of the ones that he said 'put a high Vis on and we're going to take ownership of the area and make it something we’re proud of." Dan supported Will’s band, formerly known as Razzmatazz, with equipment and performing spaces, playing gigs up to 500 people. In April 2023 on their Facebook page they said, "We would like to formally announce our new name as Headfeeder! it’s been a real struggle as some of you may know… but upwards and onwards! We know we have been silent a while but we are back and we have been practising hard.

In January 2024 it was posted on 'X', "Excited to finally announce that pre-orders are now available for our first CD "The Early Sessions. This is a collection early recordings that will only be available physically."
