Pool Of Sound - Jack Vinci

 

Wirral born Jack Vinci is an up and coming independent dream-pop and indie rock artist who has been carefully crafting his music in the studio and is now ready to express it to the world to enjoy. It’s no surprise the artist would follow on a journey to be a musician as his father and older brother were also musicians. Gifted his first guitar in 2007 from his mum and raised by her on prolific 70s and 80s, his progression as an artist really began. Rock and Pop bands with artists and groups such as George Michael and 'Duran Duran' being regular familiarities. Jack's brother's and father introduced him to the likes of 'Slipknot', 'Metallica', 'Blink-18' and 'Killswitch Engage', 'The Undertones' and 'The Sex Pistols'. All whilst his grandmother exposed Jack to more classical and operatic music. His parents however separated when he was still a child but he found a father figure in Tim, his mothers partner at the time, Tim, died in a car accident only a few years later and the reality of what had happened was inevitably not easy to overcome. Jack was exposed to a varied range of genres and influences in his youth and it shows evidently in his music today. He has a penchant for writing infectious music with a catchy melody and relatable narratives that all ages can certainly wrap their minds into with consummate ease. Jack unleashed the outstanding single 'High' in April 2022 that, it has been said, 'will skyrocket freely into the dreams that take you into that sunny place where you can get that permanent tan'. He says, "I wasn't sure at first about my debut single being a song which is so abrupt and upfront, but if I'm gonna show my face, I might as well boot the door down." He has an outstanding vocal ability that seems to breathe fresh air into your spirit, and is a quality artist who sounds completely ready for this moment.

The single brings an inspiring story that is all about reaching higher than before – as you grip that optimistic place you have treasured forever – this is a message about expressing your love and wanting to keep it at a constant height to truly treasure. Being content is the dream in life, and this is a message that will certainly have you feeling that a happy soul is indeed possible, no matter what the pessimists might say. Again Jack says, "So many songs I love are basically the soundtrack to my life, my goal with this song and every song I write is to hopefully be a part of someone else’s soundtrack, to have something which connects to a memory in someone’s life or occurring moment. This is a song I wrote sat on my kitchen counter, going over what it feels like to meet someone new after so many failed relationships.
When you have your guard up, fearing you're either gonna get hurt again or fear of the unknown. This song details the experience of being way beyond that without even realising, you've fallen for this person."

In August 2023 he posted on Twitter, "My new song Low is out now! (I'm very sorry for having to put this on your feed but unfortunately this is the way it all works now I hate it too) Please, if you could check it out that'd mean a lot, massive love.
