Week: 33 That Was The Week That Was

Could this end Liverpool's Top 4 dreams?
They came to watch the future Champions' move nearer to getting their crown
But a winning Palace visit to The Bridge unexpectedly let the Chelsea fans down.

So that meant that Tottenham Hotspur, who won once again, this time at Turf Moor
Closed the gap at the top with the hope that they maybe just edge through the door.

A youthful under strength Everton side couldn't cope with skilful Mane and Coutinho
On a day when their own star players who've been so good couldn't put on a show.

Against West Brom at home Man United stuttered and could only draw once again.
Man City v Arsenal but neither could take the much needed 3 points from the game.

In midweek Everton made amends and were only a minute away from a great win.
But a needless reaction lunge from Ashley Williams and a penalty kick was given.

Man City needed a win at Chelsea to keep any title dreams alive but it was not to be.
However Spurs scored three times in the closing stages to beat stubborn Swansea.

Not a good day for Liverpool as they received a two year ban as well as a £100k fine
Then a late goal conceded made not only Klopp feel sick with a top 4 place on the line.
He'd already received news of  Sadio Mane's season ending injury which wasn't pleasin'.
As they don't win without him, what's their chances of Champions League next season?

Ozil and Arsenal came good against West Ham who are now looking in some trouble.
Remember when Karen Brady & Co where at the new stadium 'blowing their bubble' ?

Free scoring Niasse has worked wonders at Hull who look like they now may escape
Palace and Swansea now join West Ham in a dour battle to make the relegation tape.
