Will Arsenal Keep Arsene Around?

There are some who say that Arsene Wenger is the most successful manager they have ever had and that he revolutionised the way football clubs are now run. It's true that, following his appointment in 1996, training methods and diets quickly changed for the better and others clubs quickly followed his example. He has also won the Premier League three times and the FA Cup six times in his tenure there but poor performances in Europe and his teams poor disciplinary record have been negatives, for instance between September 1996 and February 2014, the team received 100 red cards. Although he has made impressive signings, Viera, Petit and Bergkamp for example, there have been probably more poor ones than good with Mustafi and Xhaka as current examples. Also he has often tried to defend his players, involved in controversial incidents on the field, by saying that he has not seen the incident.
Critics now are saying that each season is like groundhog day. Nothing ever changes! They fell that he has run his course with his football philosophy now outdated and 'lesser' teams are now finding it increasingly easy to 'bully' them off the park and after his early success in the first eight years it is now time for a change. Some even say that Herbert Chapman and George Graham stand in front of him as great Arsenal managers and that he is now, since the departure of David Dein, in total control of the club even when it comes to deciding his future which is not an ideal situation.
It would appear that he would like to continue in his current role but there is an increasing swell of opinion amongst the supporters that it is time for him to go as uncertainty over the future of star players Ozil and Sanchez grow.
