Wk: 8 That Was The Week That Was

Coleman celebrates his winner against Georgia

A surprising week began with Everton struggling with Palace at home
Then Stoke & Burnley embarrassed two other pretenders to the throne.
Mourihno is finding life difficult, his team has less points than last years'.
Handball and offside not enough to disallow a 'goal' that left Burnley in tears.
Two weeks ago the question was asked could Man City go and win all?
Then along came Celtic and Spurs! 'It's a funny old game football'.
Swansea City, unlucky against Liverpool, sacked their manager sadly
Taking charge will be the former USA and Egypt coach Bob Bradley.
Southgate picked the latest England squad but things are looking too 'pally'.
It's the same as the last two managers' who thought Barkley worse than Alli.
But statistics tell a different tale, with the Everton man's looking a bit better.
Could it be the fact that Tottenham are now the pundits new pacesetter?
Glen Johnson and Phil Jagielka will be too old for the next competition
So why not blood the youngsters he knows who play in their position?
Is there a better example than Seamus Coleman for showing determination?
It was epitomised by his winning goal as he proudly captained his nation.
