Wk: 6 That Was The Week That Was

Ronald Koeman's first defeat as Everton manager.

Only Man City, Liverpool and Everton at the top did themselves any justice
Both Chelsea and Man United are certainly looking like a busted flush.
Some of their big money signings are looking anything like 'the elite'.
There must be some at Old Trafford searching for that Pogba receipt.
Is the pressure now getting to Jose as he openly criticises Luke Shaw?
Who will now coincidentaly be having a scan on a groin that's quite sore!
West Ham and Stoke City promised much from the end of last season,
But both are on a downward slide now and there is no apparent reason.
In mid-week we saw the next rounds of the non sponsored EFL Cup
A competition that only exists, it seems, just to mess your season up.
Under strength teams and non competitive lower league opposition
Puts most of the Premier League managers in an impossible position.
It needs some kind of restructure before it is to be taken seriously
It's seems only to be competitive at the semi-final stages frequently.
Wenger reached his 20 year milestone; ' I can't believe it', Ranieri shouts,
But it's hard to think of the Gunners when there was no Arsene about.
