Wk: 16 That Was The Week That Was

We began the week in mourning with a dark cloud hanging over France
Cowards mowed down innocent people, who just didn't stand a chance.
But as history has shown us, so many times, when similar things occurred
People support each other in adversity to show that they won't be scared.

The Republic of Ireland qualified much credit to Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane
They have taken their players to a tournament which was only the stuff of dreams.
Are England caps being devalued as does Roy Hodgson seem to just use a pin?
Deli Ali and Jesse Lingard are rewarded with only 15 appearances between them.
It turned out Ali had a really good game in the friendly match against France.
But are the media going a little overboard with overtures tinged with romance?
It was Rooney and Barkley that controlled the game both in midfield and in attack,
And young John Stones was imperious to become now the first choice centre back.
The Van Gaal and Scholes spat continues 'My teams always attack' to be blunt.
But when the evidence stares you in the face, you appear more like Jeremy Hunt.
Liverpool have recently turned their focus to Youth, but in a slightly different way.
Over the last 12 months they've told 40 in their Academy that it's the end of the day.
