Wk: 7 That Was The Week That Was

Chelsea came with their strongest team for a game they just had to win
No Baines for Everton and an early injury, Naismith came on with a grin.
Galloway and Stones were imperious, with Barry and Barkley immense.
Why Stones would want to join this team just doesn't make any sense.
Sky's 'Big Match' at Old Trafford only proved to be a first half 'yawn'
United were better after the break;  Liverpool players looked forlorn.
Souness and Carragher were left wondering what he's trying to achieve
Criticising Rodgers obsession with 4-3-3 and saying he's tactically naïve.
With just over 15 minutes left, Leicester were 2-0 down at home to Villa
But have now gone 9 league games undefeated after a second half thriller.
Stoke joined the North East clubs in the bottom 3 and had Butland to thank
His ten saves against Arsenal stopped them having more than 2 in the bank.
Tuesday night's Champions League for Manchester clubs ended quite poor
Not just losing from winning positions but a bad double fracture for Luke Shaw.
Arsenal fared no better and even had Giroud dismissed in a moment of pique.
Who would have thought that Chelsea would do the best in Europe this week?
Liverpool's young team in the Europa cost £70m, a game they should have won
Clouds of despair over White Hart Lane until after 20 minutes out came the Son.
