Wk: 4 2015-16 That Was The Week That Was

United drew with the Magpies, back page headlines 'Rooney's a spent force'
But a hat-trick in Europe midweek, now they're saying he's back on course.

City were sublime in their win at at Goodison, Sterling looking a good signing
Some teams are going to get thrashed by this Blue Moon with its Silva lining.

Bournemouth carried on where they left off at Anfield as they beat West Ham.
It's De Je Vous at The Boleyn Ground but Kevin Nolan's got out while he can.

Crystal Palace won against Aston Villa with a winner from Sako late on.
Leicester maintained their unbeaten start but Harry Kane has yet to score one.

Chelsea survived John Terry's dismissal to beat the Baggies by the odd goal.
New signing Pedro on his debut gave them inspiration playing in his new role.

Arsenal and Liverpool played in a great game which rightly ended all square.
Although in the light of some recent offside decisions some may say 'unfair'.

Balotelli went back to Italy saying Rodgers must take his share of the blame
Carragher didn't pull any punches saying he couldn't understand why he came.

Stones put in a transfer request as 'The Devious One' continued his levering.
But Everton showed they have principles, saying money can't buy everything.
Now he's compromised John Terry's position, what does he have at his disposal?
Or will he like Robert Redford in the movie, still attempt an 'Indecent Proposal'?
