Two days after starting tight end Niles Paul broke his ankle in Thursday night's pre-season opener against the Cleveland Browns, the Washington Redskins have now lost another tight end as Logan Paulsen will now have surgery on his toe.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White, the seventh overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, will need surgery on a stress fracture in his left shin and could miss the whole season.

Frank Gifford, who made 367 catches for 5,434 yards and 43 touchdowns and ran for 3,609 yards and 34 touchdowns in his career has died at his home in Connecticut of natural causes a week before his 85th birthday. He was inducted into the American Football Hall of Fame in 1977.

Vernon Kay, who hosted the American Football Show on Channel 4, has revealed his disappointment on Twitter that they will NOT be showing any NFL coverage this year.
