Whatever happened to trying to repair a hole in the ball with a 'red hot' poker ( usually making it worse ) ?
Whatever happened to walking up to random game being played and asking if you and your mate can go 'Pudding and Beef'?
Whatever happened to practising heading against a wall or 'keepy-ups' attempting to break your own record?
Whatever happened to cleaning and putting Dubbin on your football boots the night before and loving that clean smell ?
Whatever happened to the lost art of inflating and lacing a leather caseball with that long steel needle the avoiding the lace when heading it ?
Whatever happened to collecting/swapping proper football cards which came with a large piece of pink bubble gum before Panini stickers came along ?
