Quiz Night - The Answers



For all those who followed the quiz that was published last week .. here are the answers .....!

Having become engaged to a Spanish sailor, who lived in a magnificent VILLA in Spain, Princess CHELSEA left her room early one morning, in the family's CRYSTAL PALACE, to sail overseas to be with him.

First of all she had to make her way to the PORTSMOUTH to catch the boat which was moored in a murky BLACKPOOL at the SOUTHEND of the MILLWALL. As this involved going through the FOREST where there were dangerous WOLVES,she was escorted by some of the QUEENS PARK RANGERS who were armed with rifles from their ARSENAL.On the way they took rest in a MANSFIELD for lunch, where the trees bore many a BURY, before they PRESTON to catch the ship before dark.

On board she had her own cabin, though the captain insisted she kept the BOLTON the door to protect her from the CREWE who mainly slept in the HULL.She had a fire in the room which she was able to STOKE and that helped BRIGHTON the darkness whilst she was READING.

Near the end of the journey the captain announced the death of a sailor from food poisoning, probably from eating some OLDHAM.

She disembarked eventually in Spain, which LEEDS me to tell you that her fiancee was indeed royalty and that they lived happily ever after in their NEWCASTLE, UNITED forever.
