The league never lies? A weekly look at who is making the real moves during the season!
1) Manchester City - Toughing it out on a freezing afternoon in Stoke may be as tough as it comes for Mancini's men. Winning would have been a sign of real quality but this particular point won't do anybody any harm.
2) Arsenal - The form of Jack Wilshire and Samir Nasri is making The Gunners formidable opposition. It used to be that Arsenal spent the season waiting for Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie to be firing ... not any more.
3) Tottenham Hotspur - Spurs joined the big league this year and there was plenty of reasons to believe it would all prove too much by the time winter set in. We have been waiting for all the drama to catch up with them - it may be a long wait.
4) Manchester United - Just when you thought they were out they drag themselves back in. Unbeaten yet written off. And here they come again - they never go away. Like the Rolling Stones or Coronation Street.
5) Liverpool -Another defeat and another key injury. Make no mistake, the performance this weekend may have topped the one against Chelsea. Steady progress.
6) Chelsea - Dominant again away from home yet still no victory. It seems harsh to believe that Chelsea are slipping as there play is still decent. This team was never built on performances though. In fact the whole club is only interested in results.
7) Everton - If strikers blow hot and cold then Goodison is practically Arctic. It may be that a lack of goals is holding Everton back from great things - but then, that is a pretty important feature of the game. They will be praying Landon Donovan arrives.
8)Bolton Wanderers - Owen Coyle has his side playing football that would grace any arena. The equaliser on Saturday was a thing of beauty - the result was not.
9) Sunderland - Having beaten Chelsea it looked like The Black Cats had the world at their feet. Instead they have stumbled along to one point from the next two. Steve Bruce has three hot strikers and one big decision to make.
10) Newcastle United - This may have been the best weekend The Magpies have had yet. They have played well this year and routed their local rivals - but grabbing a point after being battered by the champions is how you make real progress.
11) Stoke City - Another home game and another solid result. The reverse pass that Tuncay played was one of the best moments of the year so far.
12) Birmingham City - The Blues are in the groove that they stayed in for most of last term. That took them into the higher reaches of the league, this time it is taking them away from what looked like a certain relegation battle.
13) Blackpool - It is no longer necessary for us to talk about dreams and miracles. Lets face it - it would be more of a shock if the wheels fell off at Blackpool.
14) Blackburn - A 7-1 hammering would be of far more concern to most other teams in this league, instead Blackburn will almost certainly head back to Ewood and do what they do... win football matches.
15) Aston Villa - Lets hope, that by blooding so many youngsters, Villa have not gambled too much on the clubs Premier League status. This season may just set them up for years of success.
16) West Bromwich Albion - What a day for The Baggies. Roberto Di Matteo has his side keeping the ball and keeping their composure like a mature European outfit at times. Everton learned a lesson that Arsenal had been taught earlier in the year... West Brom know how to keep a lead.
17) Wolverhampton Wanderers - Mick McCarthy did on Saturday what few in his position rarely do - he gambled on trying to win a game of football. Wolves are at their best when attacking sides. Few can keep up with the energy of Hunt, Jarvis and Doyle.
18) Fulham - Another week, another draw. Mark Hughes was sacked for under-achieving around this time last year. Just a thought.
19) West Ham United - The Hammers showed togetherness on Saturday both on and off the pitch which was sadly lacking at Anfield the week before. This is a good team with a great set of fans. It should all add up to safety.
20) Wigan Athletic - The way that Latics play makes it hard to believe they will not pick up enough points in this league. They just need to prove it.
