For The Love Of Money

It looks like draws could be the way forward this weekend with quite a few taking our fancy at thefootballvoice.com.

We start off with Ian Holloway's well rested Blackpool side. It is tempting to look at the 3/1 on offer for a side that competed well against Everton and Aston Villa in the past week. It may just be that the 'rest' given to Holloway's first team has yanked up the pressure to get a result and this may be to The Hammers advantage. However, Blackpool score goals and it is highly likely they will score them against a West Ham side who look great attacking .... but that is as far as it goes. We'll take a thrilling draw @ 12/5.

Aston Villa will be looking for something when Manchester United come to town. It is a sign of the times that these tricky away fixtures will feel like a good point earned by United if it plays out that way. Indeed, if United want to sit back and settle for it, there is little doubt Gerard Houllier will oblige with an insipid draw. If United go for it, they will no doubt be caught on the break. We will go with the Villa win/draw double chance @ 10/11.

Barcelona will host Villarreal at the weekend knowing that the Yellow submarine hold no fear against the most formidable of opposition. A closer look shows that they are unbeaten in their last three visits to Camp Nou with two credible victories. They are also in great form and rarely beaten home or away. Barcelona may just see this as a nice one not to lose. The draw @ 9/2 offers good value.
